Mae's 3!!!!

I can’t believe that 3 years ago today I was giving birth to my precious little Mae.  She has grown up so quickly right before my eyes.  Sometimes I get so busy with my life and with the other kids that I just sit back and watch her and wonder where the time has gone.  Each one of my children are so different and have such different personalities.  Mae is the most laid back and easy going of the three.  She lets a lot of things slide but she will also give you a good ass chewing if she thinks you deserve it.  She tries to fit in so well with the other kids and she does everything she can to keep up. 

 

Some of her favorite things are:

Macaroni and cheese and string cheese and of course gummies

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and ABC’s….she sings constantly

Mad Phrase-I’m not going to invite you to my birthday party

Silly Phrase-I wish…..and she wishes for stuff that she knows are impossible or silly.  The other day she wished for a broken yo-yo and then she said but I know I can’t have one.  Then another time she said, “I wish that I could eat in the living room, but I know that I can’t.”

She loves Jack and she tells him that all the time.

She loves to watch iCarly, American Idol, and Ellen (she loves it when Ellen dances)

She loves to dance and she is constantly dancing.

She never gets upset to get left home when the other kids leave for the most part, she really enjoys her one on one time with the parent that she is left home with.

She will wear almost anything that you put on her, unlike her sister!!!

She has the cutest and sometimes creepiest giggle and she will just randomly giggle all the time.

She is looking very forward to school next year and I think that she will be a very smart preschooler.

She walks up to me or the puppy and she does this really tight squeeze and shakes her head and at the same time it grinds her teeth.  It drives me crazy but you can always tell when she is excited about something or someone.

She for the most part sleeps in her room and all night.

 

Here is how Mae sings her ABC’s…..A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P,Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X,Y,Z, now I know my A,B,C,D,E………etc. until she gets to the end again and then starts over again and again and again until you stop her otherwise it is a never ending song.

 

Hopefully Mae keeps her easy going attitude and bubbly personality forever!!

 

Another significant thing about today is that it is Lou’s last day of preschool.  She loves school and when I told her that she was no longer going to have the same teachers next year she was a little sad and she said that she was really going to miss coloring with Mrs. Barber.  I told her to make sure that she gives big hugs when she leaves for the day and she said, “Mom I always give big hugs everyday!!”

 

Tomorrow is going to be Gavin’s last day of 1st grade….he is so ready for summer!!!  Hopefully I will have a chance to post on him tomorrow.
