A little frustrated.....

I called Iowa City today to see if they have had a chance to look at Mae’s information that was sent to them.  The secretary said that they have not received all of the information yet so she cannot submit it to the doctor to look over.  So I called the hospital and they said that they had no instructions on where to send them so they have not sent them anywhere.  I then told them where to send them and they should receive them by Wednesday.  The secretary told me that the doctor usually looks at the packets very quickly to decide whether her appointment needs to be moved up or not.  I then told the nurse that it makes it a little scary knowing that we are being referred to Iowa City and she told me that there are only 2 pediatric urologist in the state of Iowa and they are both in Iowa City so that made me feel a little better about the situation.  She also told me to call back whenever I want, so that made me feel pretty good also.  I debated whether I should call today or not because it has only been a few days but I am happy that I did now since they did not have all of the information.
