I can’t believe it but my baby is turning 2 tomorrow, so we celebrated her 2nd birthday with a party on Saturday morning. She was so pretty, I had gotten her a dress for Easter and I decided to have her wear the same dress for her Birthday since she only got to wear it for about 2 hours on Easter to church. She kept twirling around in it, she was so pretty. She got lots of nice gifts but I think that her favorite gift was her high heel shoes, she got a 4 pack of princess shoes and she had to put them on and wear them throughout the house all weekend. She thought that she was pretty hot stuff!!!
We also had 3 graduations on Saturday so we kept pretty busy, we had to go from Clarksville to about Nora Springs for one of the graduations and for some reason Mae cried the whole way there, she just kept saying; “Mommy, want you, want you….” It was breaking my heart but I let her cry, she has never done anything like that, I am thinking that she is getting her 2 year molars and having a hard time with that.
Speaking of teeth…..G has his first loose teeth. The 2 on the bottom are loose and 1 on top. The one on the bottom is so loose that it bleeds when he wiggles and it is so close to coming out. He was offered 10 bucks at a graduation to let them pull it and he declined. I told him that that was more then the tooth fairy would pay but he thought that he would hold out. I’m sure in the next couple of days it will be gone.
G has been keeping pretty busy with the neighbors, he wants to be outside with them all of the time. I’m happy for him because at first it started out pretty rough and they wouldn’t ever let him play so he feels pretty cool now.
R is going to be staying with us on Wednesday through Monday this week, her mom is going away and we are going to let her drive back and forth to and from school so that should be nerve racking but she is way excited for the chance to do it. It will take a load off of us also not having to run her all the time.
