SORE THUMB

When DW got home today he told Lou to show me her thumb. I looked at it and it looked terrible. It was huge, red and pussy. She had an infected hangnail, and me being the worry wart I rushed her right to the dr. office (I immediately pictured infection running all the way up her arm). They said what I did and that was that she had an infected hang nail, so they put her on antibiotics for 10 days and then we also asked for a flu shot. She asked what we were waiting for and we didn't want to lie so DW said that she was getting a shot. NO TEARS, I couldn't believe it. She did great. When it was all said and done she said that her leg hurt but still no tears. She is soooo strong.
Mae is really starting to try to talk lately. She is constantly making loud noises and squealing especially when her brother and sister are around, she gets so excited when they are playing around her. I can't believe she is almost 7 months old already.
