You can tell that Christmas is coming as busy as everything has been, you can especially see this since I have not posted a blog in a long time. We had Christmas on the O. side at our house on Saturday night, it was very bad weather. I hate bad weather even if I do not have to drive in it. I don't want anyone to have drive in it. Tonight we had Christmas with my mom and dad. We had attempted to go to my brothers house but like I said before I hate weather, so we did not make it, so my mom and dad came to us. It was sad because we did not get to spend it as a whole family, but it is not worth risking bad driving conditions to get there. I would rather be safe especially since we had -30 degree windchills. Brrrrr.
I was supposed to go and visit GW's class on Friday morning but school was cancelled so I was not able to go. GW was a little disappointed but I told him that his dad would go with him on his first day back to school after the new year, and he was okay with this.
Mae is starting to wave a people other then my mother now. Not all of the time but sometimes she does it. Every now and then we can get her to do sooo big and put her hands up in the air. Before we know it she will be fighting with her brother and sister. I don't know if I mentioned before but she is sitting up now and she has been for about a month. Still she has not rolled over but I guess that she doesn't need to now that she is sitting up most of the time. She really likes playing with toys now, they always get pushed out way in front of her and she reaches so far for them I am sure that will make her want to crawl sometime soon.
Lou has such a soft heart. The other night there was a movie on and there was a little boy that was sick on the movie that she was watching. He was in the hospital, she started crying and said that she was really sad because she didn't want that boy to be sick. Tears were flowing out of her eyes and she said that she wanted to go to that boys house tomorrow. Finally we had to tell her that she could and just hope that she would forget about it, which thank god, she did.
Friday night mom wanted to have the older kids spend the night at her house. I surprisingly agreed, and I dropped them off at her house around 5. I told her that if they needed to call home at any time to go ahead and let them. Around 9:30 we got a call from Lou saying that she was very sad and that she needed her mommy. She actually said that she was upset, of course we gave into her and met mom half way and picked her up halfway. Then around 11 the phone range again, GW had to tell us good night.
R has a new boyfriend, she is always texting away to him, oh to be a teenager again!!!
Hopefully I can get back to blogging now that the big Christmas at my house is done. I also did scrapbooks for my parents of all of the grandkids for their Christmas present. That has really consumed a lot of my time also. I have been working on those for about 3 months now, and I just gave them to them tonight, I hope they liked them.
