Yesterday Lou got up early and she was cuddling with me in the recliner. Then Mae started stirring in her room. I asked Lou to go in and talk to her for a minute while I went to the bathroom. So she did and she comes flying into the bathroom saying, "Mom guess what?!?! Mae is standing up!!!" So we both went in there and here she was standing on the side of her crib on her two legs. She was so happy and she seemed so proud of herself. It was so cute, and it was also cute to see how excited Lou got about her new accomplishment.
This weekend Mae's eye has looked great, there has been no drainage. She did this one other time but in a couple of days the drainage came back so I am kind of torn on what to do. We are supposed to have her pre-op appointment tomorrow and surgery on Thursday, so I don't know what we are going to do yet.
